1）Biking or hiking in Stanley Park
The Stanley Park Seawall is Vancouver’s most famous ride. Part of The Great Trail, dozens of people ride this popular route every day, especially on weekends.’
2）Explore Granville Island
Located on the edge of downtown Vancouver, Granville Island was once an industrial zone peninsula and the abandoned railway and warehouse has been remodeled. There are famous public markets, Net Loft, marine markets and Granville Island Brewing built in 1984. It is also an art peninsula where artists gather. Weekend street performers will also perform here.
3）Walk Around Gas-town
The gas town does not produce gas, and it’s name is related to the nickname Gassy of a bar owner. All the streets here lead to Maple Square, where the statue of Mr. Gas himself stands. There is a steam-powered clock that weighs 2 tons, and every 15 minutes, white steam emerges along with the Westminster clock. Built in the 18th century, the Jailer’s Square was converted from the first prison in Vancouver and is now a quaint little square. In addition, Blood Alley and Inuit Gallery are also famous attractions.
4）Hang Out Canada Place
Located in Vancouver’s coal harbour area, This amazing composite architecture looks a sailing ship and is an international conference center. There are five sets of white sails made of fiberglass at the top of the building. it is one of Vancouver’s most important landmarks.
5）Visit Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Park
There are the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Park and the Classical Chinese Garden that can be found within Chinatown. The park is a public space while the garden requires a $10 admission fee to visit, don’t confused!
